Privacy Policy

The MyPaste app

• Your history stays on your Mac. Everything you copy is stored locally by the app and is never uploaded, synced or shared by MyPaste.
• No network access. MyPaste contains no networking code and does not connect to the internet.
• No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no account. We do not know who uses MyPaste or how.
• Passwords are skipped. Copies that password managers mark as private are not saved to your history.
• Secrets stay locked. Items you protect are kept in the macOS Keychain and shown only after Touch ID or your Mac password.
• You stay in control. You can delete single items or clear your history from inside the app at any time.

Copies from your iPhone or iPad reach your Mac through Universal Clipboard, a macOS feature run by Apple. MyPaste only reads what is already on your Mac’s clipboard.

Purchases and crash reports

MyPaste is sold through the Mac App Store. Apple processes your purchase, and we never receive your name, payment details or Apple ID. If you have chosen in macOS to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics under Apple’s privacy policy.

This website

• Cookie-free analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, does not fingerprint you and does not follow you across sites. Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details only to produce totals.
• No ads and no other third parties. Apart from the Cloudflare analytics script, all scripts, fonts and images are served from our own host.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, page requested and time) to run and secure the server.
• Support form. When you write to us we receive your name, email address, topic and message, along with your IP address and browser details. We store the message on our server and receive it by email, and use it only to answer you and to stop abuse.
• Spam protection. To limit how many messages can be sent and to drop duplicates, we keep one-way hashes of your IP address, email address and message for no longer than seven days. Messages our filter marks as spam are kept separately for review and then deleted.

We keep support messages only as long as we need them to help you and follow up. We process them because you asked us to reply, and in our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of abuse. We never sell or share them.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

MyPaste is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
